For believers we have eternal hope which is based on the word of God that gives us His promises. Biblical hope that we stand on means we anticipate with pleasure that the word of God works. This brings forth courage and strength in the heart of the believer. Worldly hope truly only has worldly things to hope in. Worldly things change all the time, but God’s word never changes. With the way things are in the world and will be (which is worse), I choose God’s hope. What do you choose?
Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD.
Psalm 31:24
