WHEATLAND Members of the Laramie Peak Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and Auxiliary No. 3558 and guests dedicated the Camp Grace flagpole and raised the flags on Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Camp Grace.

John Maxson made the new steel flagpole. Members of the Wheatland Rural Electric Association, Laramie Peak VFW Post No. 3558, and American Legion Ora Call Post No. 10 erected the new flagpole in late May.

On June 22, members of the Laramie Peak VFW Post and Auxiliary No. 3558 and guests traveled to Camp Grace to raise the American flag and Wyoming flag on the new flagpole. A stainless steel plaque will be attached at the base of the flagpole, listing all of the donors that made the new flagpole and flags possible. These donations were monetary, supplies and/or labor.
