Sprucing up for spring!

Photo 2: The concrete spheres found in Lewis Park, originally designed to discourage vehicle traffic on the walking paths in Lewis Park, have taken on a

whole new life! Thanks to members of the Platte County Art Guild each one of

the spheres have been painted, two were painted to look like baseballs, one has

the U.S. and Wyoming fl ags, another is a world globe, another with Steamboat

the famous bucking bronc, and one with a smiley face! Painters included Gail

Thompson, VirJean Reynolds, Lee Modesitt, Blayne Tamlin and Helen Rutz.
