Wyo. Army Guard unit deploying 162 soldiers: Locals among those leaving Saturday

CHEYENNE – The Wyoming Army National Guard will deploy 162 Soldiers from the 133rd Engineer Company, based in Laramie, Wyo., to Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) April 12.

The unit’s deployment ceremony will be held at the University of Wyoming’s (UW) Arena-Auditorium April 11 at 3:30 p.m. Primary parking will be in the Ford Lot, on the east side of the football stadium. UW’s Transit and Parking department said it would not ticket in the area surrounding the Arena-Auditorium after 2:00 p.m. that day, with the exception of fire lanes, yellow zones and disability zones (for those without a disability sticker).
