GUERNSEY – Energy development continues in Platte County.
An Oklahoma-based energy partnership is looking into constructing a lengthy pipeline from the Bakken oil fields of North Dakota and through the Guernsey area. The $300-million proposed project from Hiland Crude, a subsidiary of Hiland Partners, consists of a 500-mile, 12-inch-diameter pipeline with the capacity to handle more than 50,000 barrels per day.
