WHEATLAND – Third time might be a charm for the Wheatland High School Bulldogs track squad.
WHS is set to head to their third scheduled meet to officially kick off the track season. The Bulldogs could not attend the first two scheduled events.
Their first competition was going to be the Glen Legler Memorial event in Casper, but the team had not yet had enough practices to send competitors. Natrona County High School was scheduled to host a track and field invite this past week, where Wheatland was slated to compete, but the meet was canceled.
This leaves the Speedgoat Classic in Newcastle, which takes place on Thursday starting at 9 a.m. The Bulldogs come home in their only home meet of the season next week during the Wheatland Invite on Saturday, April 6. The meet starts at 11 a.m.
