Three sentenced in pig farm case

WHEATLAND – Three of seven people reportedly involved in an animal abuse case at Wyoming Premium Farms near Wheatland were recently sentenced.

David Bienz, Jr., Kali Oseland and Patrick Rukavina have all been processed through Platte County Circuit Court.

Bienz, Jr. pleaded no contest to two counts of cruelty to animals. He was found guilty of both counts and sentenced to a 60-day jail suspended sentence for each count and six months probation.

Oseland also pleaded no contest and was found guilty of two counts of cruelty to animals. Oseland’s sentence was the same as Bienz, Jr.’s. Two counts of animal cruelty have been dismissed as per a plea agreement.
