WHEATLAND – An official from the Wyoming Pipeline Authority (WPA) came to Wheatland last Wednesday to discuss the local energy industry and shed some light on an upcoming project. WPA Executive Director Brian Jeffries spoke to the Platte County Economic Development Energy Committee.
State officials and energy companies are currently examining proposals for two rail facilities that could change the way crude oil moves in the region: one in Casper and the other in the Guernsey-Fort Laramie area.
