WHEATLAND – Germans who settled along the Volga River in Russia now have descendents living in southeast Wyoming. Those looking to better examine their roots might want to give next week’s event a visit.
Fort Collins, Colo. author Karen Schutte is coming to the Platte County Historical Society meeting at the Platte County Library at 904 9th St. in Wheatland on Feb. 26 at 7 p.m.
Schutte will be signing copies of her books “The Ticket” and “Seed of the Volga” at next Tuesday’s event.
