Myles K. Flatley, of Cheyenne, passed away on Feb. 1, 2013 in Loveland, Colo. after a short battle with brain cancer. He was born Oct. 12, 1942 in Williston, N.D. He served in the U.S. Army from 1962 to 1966. He worked most of his life as a farmer and rancher and, in his later years, as a truck driver for H.H. Williams of Greeley, Colo. He was a cowboy at heart and had a special talent for making custom cowboy hats. Myles loved fishing, shooting the breeze and could make friends with any stranger.
Myles is survived by his daughter Sara Flatley of Fort Collins, Colo., his son Nickolas Flatley of Casper.
A memorial service will be held at 1p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church. 301 East Stuart St, Fort Collins, CO 8052
