Tattoo shop opens in Wheatland

WHEATLAND – A wall of photos from tattoo magazines took three days to assemble.

And the scenery on the corner of 9th and Maple only gets more interesting from there.

A nod to the 1991 Nirvana album “Nevermind” adorns one partition of the right-side wall. The rest of the building’s walls are divided into eye-catching, cheerful and unconventional colors.

Blood, Sweat N’ Tears is one of the newest additions to the Wheatland business scene. Chris and Corinna Leeson own the shop, employing Wheatland-born artist Elizabeth Owen, three-and-a-half-year industry veteran R.J. Michon and Jayme Russell, who has been piercing professionally for about three years.
