At the meeting of the Appropriations Committee at the Wyoming House of Representatives there were so many people that we filled two hearing rooms and of that group, 18 people were heard. We were there because we believe that a government “by the people” still exists in Wyoming.
I voted for a Superintendent of Public Instruction. I believed that we were electing a representative “of the people”, that would be allowed to do the things that she promised.
The legislature disagreed, so they redefined her office to fit their perceptions.
