Most have heard that the Legislature would like to convert the currently publicly elected position of Superintendent of Public Instruction to one appointed by the Governor.

It is no secret that Superintendent Cindy Hill and the Legislature have butted heads over her aggressive work to streamline and hold accountable the state’s Department of Education.
