Winter sports seasons starting

WHEATLAND - The Wheatland Bulldogs will kick off their winter sports seasons this week with basketball games in Buffalo and Cody and a wrestling dual in Torrington.

The boys basketball team will start their season on Friday, Nov. 30 in Buffalo as they compete in the East-West Challenge. The tournament will be held Friday and Saturday.

The girls basketball team will travel to Cody to compete in the East-West Challenge this Friday, Nov. 30. This tournament will also run through Saturday.

The wrestling team will kick off their season on Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Blazer Duals in Torrington at 9 am.

Be sure to cheer on the Bulldogs at their first home game/dual of the season at the following dates and times:

• Boys basketball – Saturday, Dec. 8 @ 7 pm vs. Gering

• Girls basketball – Tuesday, Dec. 11 @ 7 pm vs. Gering

• Wrestling – Thursday, Dec. 6 @ 6 pm vs. Cheyenne South
