Three turnovers prove detrimental to Bulldogs

BIG HORN - The Rams capitalized on three detrimental turnovers the Bulldogs had in last Friday’s game, securing their 56-24 win.

Wheatland High School Head Football Coach Scott Schultz said he felt like the Bulldogs were capable of beating Big Horn.

“We were not focused in our execution,” he said. “There were three touchdowns that we basically handed to them on a silver platter.”

Big Horn remains undefeated with a 5-0 record.

The loss for the Bulldogs makes them 2-2 in conference and 3-2 overall.

Although the Bulldogs put up 400 yards of total offense, they made only 15 of 41 passes.

“We had a lot of opportunities and left those on the ground by not catching the football,” Schultz said. “We just lost focus.”

The Bulldogs will have their homecoming game at 7 pm this Friday, Oct. 5. Winning this game will be important for the Bulldogs as they will need to win the next couple games to qualify for the play-offs.
