Will play Midwest in road game this Friday at 7 pm
GUERNSEY - It appeared that the Pronghorn hunting season was open last weekend in Guernsey as the Vikings shot down Farson-Eden 48-0.
The Vikes picked up 21 points in the first quarter and held the same lead at half. They scored 14 in the third quarter and another 13 in the fourth to send the Pronghorns home to lick their wounds.
With the win, the Vikes push their season record to 4-1, but they’ll need a good game this Friday as they head to Midwest to take on the 4-1 Oilers.
The Vikings had a total of 266 offensive yards, picking up 98 in the air and another 168 on the ground.
The Vikes are in a three-way tie for first in the Class 1-A, Six Man
South Conference at 4-1 with Little Snake River and Midwest. Hanna-Elk Mountain and Farson-Eden remain winless in five starts.
Midwest’s only loss was to North Conference leader 6-0 Dubois.
Friday’s game at Midwest begins at 7 p.m.
Next week the Vikes will celebrate homecoming when they host Meeteetse.
