Funeral services for HELEN G. DUNHAM, 93, will be held on

Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 11am at the LaGrange Bible Church in

LaGrange, Wyoming with Pastors Tom Harves and Don Mathis officiating.

Interment will be at the LaGrange Cemetery following the service.

Memorials can be made to the LaGrange Bible Church and to Goshen Care

Center Activities. Helen went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday,

January 19, 2010 at Community Hospital in Torrington, Wyoming.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Colyer Funeral Home and

She was born in Iowa City, Iowa on June 27, 1916 to Emery and Mabel

(Ihrig) Deal. She graduated from Iowa City High School, attended Olivet

University, and later graduated from the University of Wyoming. She

married Kenneth Dunham on March 31, 1948 in Torrington, Wyoming. Helen

taught at business colleges in Iowa City and Chicago, and in many rural

schools in Iowa and Wyoming. In Wheatland, she ran a private nursery

school, and she taught elementary school in LaGrange for 23 years, from

1963-1986. Helen was a member of the LaGrange Bible Church where she was

a Sunday school teacher and AWANA leader for many years. She enjoyed

spending time with her family, reading, creative writing, gardening, and

word searches. In December of 2006 she entered the Goshen Care Center in

Torrington and very much enjoyed her three years there.



She is survived by her sisters; Joyce Rathjen of North Liberty, IA, and

Bea Northway of Poughkeepsie, NY, daughters Sharon (Ken) Tremain of

LaGrange and Peggy (Rich) Tremain of Laramie; son Doug (Kathy) Dunham of

Quakertown, PA; brother-in-laws Jim Dunham, and Lee and wife Adelaide Dunham; 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was

preceded in death by her parents, her husband Kenneth, one brother Harold

Deal, and a sister Betty Roberge.
