Leo K. Williams, 71, of Las Vegas, passed away on July 17, 2013.
He was born to Leo and Ella Williams on Dec. 26, 1941. Leo attended the Wheatland Schools.
Leo married Joan on Aug. 19, 1962, they had two lovely children, Trent and Kristina.
Leo enjoyed time with his family, foremost racing with his grandchildren and son and son-in-law as well as traveling extensively after his retirement in 2006.
Leo is survived by his wife Joan; son Trent (Tammy) of Las Vegas; daughter Kris (Marty) Baillie of Chino Valley, Ariz.; grandchildren Amanda and Phil Baillie of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; his brother Allan (Carole) of Colorado Springs, Colo.; sisters Iva Wilson of Sidney, Neb. and Beverly (Fred) Werkele of Wheatland; sisters-in-law Nancy O’Neil of Santa Rosa, Calif. and Elaine (Les) Lewis of Kirk, Colo. as well as four nephews and four nieces.
Leo is preceded in death by his parents Leo and Ella Williams, in-laws Adam and Elizabeth Lofing, niece Crystal Werkele and brother-in-law Joseph O’Neil.
A celebration of Leo’s life will be held at Palm Northwest Mortuary Chapel on Oct. 26, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. in Las Vegas with a reception to follow.
