Phyllis was born July 26, 1948, the daughter of Leland and Zelma Duff in Wheatland. She graduated from Wheatland High School. She worked for many years at Platte County Memorial Hospital, and after obtaining her registered nurse degree from Laramie County Community College, she became the head OR nurse. Phyllis dedicated her life to helping others.
Phyllis was married to Terry Bach on June 18, 1967. Both Phyllis and Terry enjoyed stock car racing. They put in many hours with car No. 7 that Terry would race. Phyllis would also have her chance of driving in the Powder Puff Derby. Phyllis and Terry lived in Chugwater, Wyoming where they both enjoyed playing baseball, Terry as the coach and Phyllis playing first base. One week out of the year time would be spent camping at the lake along with Phyllis' family. Many fond memories were made during those summers and fun times were had by all. Having one brother and five sisters one never knew what the day would bring.

A memorial to the Phyllis Bach Memorial in care of First State Bank, P.O. Box 39, Wheatland, WY 82201 to help others pursue their nursing career would be appreciated by the family.
