Sarah I. McInroy died peacefully at home on September 29, 2012 in Longmont. She was 35 years old.
She was born August 4, 1977 in Wheatland, Wyoming to Clark and Diane (Sponaugle) McInroy.
Sarah moved to Longmont at the age of nine and graduated from Skyline High School.
She was a participant in the Imagine! program [for people with disabilities] and a resident of the Imagine! Charles Family Smart Home in Longmont.
Sarah was a loving and joyous young woman who touched the lives of those around her. She will be remembered for her sense of humor, her love of animals and her vivacity. She enjoyed walking her dog, learning languages, doing hard math problems and listening to music. She loved playing softball with the Longmont city Softball for All League, and she was a huge John Elway fan.
She is survived by her mother Diane Carroll (Bob) of Longmont, father Clark McInroy (Lynnette) of Wheatland, Wyoming and eight brothers and sisters: Jessica Thompson (Mike), Karri-Ada Kennedy (Gary), Brian Keldsen (Nikki), Warren Keldsen (Brittany), Korina Mendoza (Mario), Patricia McInroy, Mike Carroll and Keith Carroll.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8pm Wednesday at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel, with family present to greet friends. Cremation will follow the visitation. Memorial services will be 1:00 pm Thursday at Westview Presbyterian Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Imagine! Foundation and sent in care of Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
