Graveside services for Kenneth L. Clear, 86, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 30, 2009 at the Horseshoe Cemetery near Glendo, Wyoming and military honors will be accorded by the John Prince American Legion Post #15.

Ken Clear a resident of Glendo died Saturday, October 24, 2009 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming.

He was born in Hastings, Nebraska on July 14, 1923 the son of Peter and Katherine (Bower) Clear, immigrants from Russia.

He was reared and educated in Hasting, and graduated from the Hastings High School. He worked as a mason, laying bricks at many construction sites throughout the United States. He was married to Ethel L. (Rasp) Wedeking on September 16, 1967 in Granite City, Illinois. They resided in Belleville, Illinois for several years prior to moving to Denver, Colorado in 1972. They moved to Wyoming in May, 1977, and resided in Glendo and Cheyenne.

He served in the United States Army during World War II.

He is survived by his nephew, Gary Clear, of Waddell, Arizona.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Ethel, on April 17, 1988; one brother; and one sister.

A memorial to the choice of the donor would be appreciated by the family.
