WHEATLAND The old adage, "you can't see the forest for the trees" can sometimes be a fitting one for the people in our everyday lives. Such is the case with a teacher at Wheatland High School. After occupying adjoining classrooms during my last 10 years at school, it suddenly dawned on me that there might be a host of people who have no idea the anomaly of both cowgirl and cook that is this feisty little teacher Marina Hadley.
"My twin brother (Monte) and I shared our first horse, but we argued over who was going to ride. I think the folks got tired of it and bought me a pony, Hadley said. He dumped me a few times but then Mom helped me get him straightened out.
