"I pushed and it bit!" Utter's comment concerning what could have been a fatal accident

WHEATLAND It is difficult for the victims of an accident to relive the scenario. However, in the case of Sharon and her son, Wade, Utter, the telling may make others more cautious in their actions.

Saturday, June 30, 2012, on the Utter farm west of Wheatland, this mother and son were using every available ray of daylight and every ounce of already-exhausted bodies and minds to get the last 50 bales of hay off the field so irrigation could resume. Wade's 9-year-old son, Garrison, was helping the process by riding the four-wheeler with possibly needed tools.
