FVC comes to Wheatland

WHEATLAND – Those who normally buy their fuel from the Wheatland Co-op Association (WCA) might have noticed a recent change in signage.

The Imperial, Neb.-based Frenchman Valley Co-op (FVC) recently bought out the WCA’s fuel and agronomic assets which will result in the expansion of services.

During a meet-and-greet in early January, FVC manager Doug Ohlson said the cooperative plans to push liquid fertilizer products, competitive bulk fuel rates, application assistance and other products and services he believes will make life just a little easier for Platte County farmers and ranchers.
