WHEATLAND – It all started with an eight-by-eight-by-eight cube of snow. The frozen block in Driggs, Idaho weighed in at about 15,360 pounds, or 7.68 tons of snow.
It started out as a monolithic cube, but after three days, it would become a masterpiece.
Mike, Diane and Michaela Haroldson of Wheatland were three members of a five-person team to carve the gigantic mass of snow into a work of art.
