Suspect in Chugwater gas station crash identified

CHUGWATER – A 52-year-old man is in custody at the Platte County Detention Center following a crash on Dec. 30 that caused Chugwater gas station Horton’s Corner to burn.

John Joseph Barberini, whose last known address was in Casper, has been charged with reckless driving and no insurance; further charges are pending investigation.
