Southeast Wyoming’s Madden competes for Miss America crown

TORRINGTON - This year’s Miss Wyoming, 21-year-old Lexie Madden of Torrington, will compete this coming weekend in Las Vegas at the 2013 Miss America Pageant.

Madden was crowned Miss Wyoming in June, and is a Torrington High School graduate who currently attends The Universtiy of Wyoming. She is a kinesiology major.

Her platform is “Raising Awareness of the Importance of Physical Activit in Youth.” She has been traveling around the state to promote excersise and other health living habits. It’s her hope to obtain a doctorate in pediatric physical therapy.
