CHEYENNE – The gavel will fall for the 62nd Wyoming Legislature Wednesday at noon, and Platte County’s representatives are ready to go.
State Sen. Jim Anderson said one of bigger issues legislators face during this session will be looking at the governor’s proposed 6.5-percent budget cuts. As Platte County is considered one of the poorer in the state, Anderson hopes legislators can come to an agreement concerning budget cuts that would do minimal harm to the county and municipalities he represents.
