WHEATLAND - The 2012 Christmas parade and holiday festivities are fast approaching. This year’s theme is “Christmas Stories”. The Christmas parade will be held on Friday, November 30 beginning at 5:30 pm. We will begin lining up at 16th & Gilchrist Sts (Brown Company parking lot) at 4:30 pm. The parade route is as follows: Begin at 16th & Gilchrist Sts – east on Gilchrist St to 12th St – south on 12th St to South St – east on South St to 9th St – north on 9th St to Walnut St – end in front of the courthouse. The parade entries will park for a short time in front of the courthouse to allow people to vote on their entry.

We are asking that no vehicles be parked on 9th St between Water St and Walnut St prior to and during the parade. The entries will be parking in front of the courthouse so room will be needed for all of the parade entries.
