Platte County residents nominated as ‘Wyoming Women of Influence’

WHEATLAND, Two Platte County residents, Carolyn Teter, Linda Fabian and Wheatland native Cindy Hill were nominated as a "Wyoming Woman of Influence" by the Wyoming Business Report.

Thomas Memorial Fly-in brought family-friendly fun

GLENDO, The 9th annual Thomas Memorial Fly-in was held in Glendo on Sunday. The event featured free food and various games that were sure to entertain all ages.
Over 15 pilots came from various places in the state and as far as Nevada to participate in the event. Glendo receives money from the Wyoming Department of Transportation- Aeronautics division

Meth lab busted found in Wheatland

WHEATLAND, Officers responding to a domestic violence call on Friday evening got more than they bargained for by discovering a meth lab on the property.
When officers responded to the call at 954 Walnut St. in Wheatland, they saw drug paraphernalia and quickly obtained a search warrant for the property.

Over $4,000 in Platte County lottery ticket sales
