CHEYENNE – UW Extension’s Wyoming Bee College and the Garden to Market Conference will be held this week, March 24-25 held at Laramie Community College’s Pathfinder Building at 1400 E. College Drive in Cheyenne.

The two events will both be going on beginning Friday from 8:30-3:30 and Saturday from 9:30 to 4:30.

For the Bee college, some of the topics that will be covered are sustainable beekeeping, how to build a tunnel dome and a beginning beekeeping class. In addition, there will be journeyman to advanced classes on cut flowers, herbs, native plants and mushrooms.

Keynote speaker Dayna Burtness-Nguyen will be featuring her pilot study with Xerces and how farmers/landowners can create mult-use habitat that feeds pollinators.
